I'm going too, meeting up with a couple of online GTR racers.

I find that without sound I tend to forget to change gears, up mainly.
I find it very difficult.

I agree, it's very much like the FOX but faster and a tiny bit more wild
(probably due to the extra speed)

I've set the Euro Racing group server to run FO8 at Aston Historic.
Up and running now.

I drove the FO8 a few days ago, and for the first time I actually stuck with it.
I found it very rewarding and most enjoyable.
I think I'll set my server for FO8 from now on.

Try setting the port for the second server to 63394 instead of 63393.
For some reason I found that one server will be intermittent if the ports for the two servers are too close together.
I know it seems odd but I did it with GTR dedi servers and seperating them by a slightly larger margin cured the problem.

I think learning to drift well could improve your racing in so much as if the car starts to slide, you know exactly what to do to catch it.
I've never tried drifting but I'll give it a go.

If you edited it in photoshop, you need to merge layers and save as a .jpg
I found this out by accident. And don't forget, when oyu upload a skin, make sure it is 1024x1024.
Even I can do skins in LFS and that is incredible

Try zooming in and out when driving the FOX it's pretty odd the difference it makes on your perception of track width and speed.

Are you running the Dedicated server version U?
If you're not, and your game is patched to version U, you will get the "different code" message.
Also, make sure the server is running S2 if you are trying to join an S2 server.

I'm using Blueyonder broadband and I am having trouble connecting to master server quite a lot. I also get a lot of "guest timed out" messages on the server i have running. It seems that Blueyonder is at fault for some troubles. Again!
